Biography
Nationally recognized federal marketing executive. Successful track record in supporting capture of multi-million dollar transactions on behalf of enterprise IT vendors. Extensive experience in representing software vendors before the Congress and the White House/Office of Management and Budget. I specialize in helping clients understand how to leverage the congressional oversight process in support of deal-related outcomes. These outcomes can be either strategic (e.g., advocating the need for favorable bill and/or report language that gets written into law) or tactical (e.g., advocating the need for a congressional input into a federal agency's decision making process).
Specialties: Consulting with technology vendors to develop and execute federal (Congress/White House) government relations strategies. Aligning client offerings with statutory requirements and executive directives. Assisting clients with public/private competitions managed under OMB Circular A-76. Helping IT vendors add a "top down" dimension to ongoing sales operations. Current areas of emphasis include: cybersecurity, cloud computing (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), data center consolidation, Big Data/data storage, and advocacy of private (vs. federal) data center capabilities.
